HyperOS is Xiaomi's new operating system replacing MIUI. If you're looking to install or update HyperOS on your Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO device, this guide covers both Recovery and Fastboot methods.
Check Your Device
Before starting, make sure your device supports HyperOS. Visit our Xiaomi Firmwares page to check if your device has HyperOS available.
Method 1: Recovery Update (Easiest)
- Go to Settings → About Phone → System Update
- Click Check for Updates
- If HyperOS is available, click Download and Install
- The device will reboot and install automatically
This method works if your device already received the official OTA update.
Method 2: Fastboot Flashing (Manual)
- Download the correct HyperOS Fastboot ROM for your device from our Xiaomi Firmwares page
- Enable Developer Options and USB Debugging
- Boot your device into Fastboot Mode (Volume Down + Power)
- Connect to PC
- Open CheckerTR PRO → Xiaomi Module → Fastboot Flashing
- Select the downloaded ROM and click Flash
Method 3: Recovery ROM (via Custom Recovery)
- Download the HyperOS Recovery ROM from our site
- Boot into custom recovery (TWRP/OFOX)
- Wipe Dalvik Cache and Data
- Install the ROM zip file
- Reboot
⚠️ Note: Flashing via Fastboot will wipe all data. Back up your files first using CheckerTR PRO's Backup module.
After Installation
First boot may take 5-10 minutes. Once booted, sign into your account and restore your data. Check our Beginner Guide for post-flash setup tips.
